I was nervous about this one as I love her historical mystery series but wasn’t sure how a modern mystery might go but was also intrigued by the idea of older female assassins. Yes, please! And this was a good read. I wasn’t blown away but I enjoyed the reading experience overall. It’s nice to see older women protagonist’s with interesting storylines. Such a fun book. Loved the idea of sixty year old assassins.
Billie, Mary Alice, Helen and Natalie are assassins who have reached retirement age. They have worked for The Museum, a secret, independent organization, killing targeted people such as war lords and traffickers. The Museum sends the four on a luxury retirement cruise but they soon discover a member of The Museum is on the ship and is planning to kill them. A cute and cozy mystery and adventure. I thought I would be bored, but this was full of good humor and fast paced!
This was so much fun. Never underestimate older women... especially assassin women. They've seen and done it all ....
