I really enjoyed this book and the time it spent on a less well-known, less recognized heroine of Greek mythology (albeit naive to a fault).

I didn’t like the ending and was expecting a more hopeful resolution, but the story is overall a pleasure.

I loved this. I knew nothing of Ariadne before, so I found it absolutely fascinating to learn more about her story, how she played a role with some who were more familiar to me (the minotaur, Icharus), and how her story developed.

I really enjoyed the message (as depressing as it was) of how women end up paying the price formen's sins or vices. I had never thought about the Greek mythology stories from that lens before, so it was interesting to have that called out.
