Another Taylor Jenkins Reid. Another interesting read. Another over-over-over hyped book.
I am in the minority. But this is yet another book by Taylor Jenkins Reid that is touted as the best book of the year. And, yet again, while I don't hate it, I am flummoxed at people's reaction to it.

An interesting mock biopic of Hollywood stardom with a unique twist on the friendship of Elizabeth Taylor and Rock Hudson. A beautiful tribute to the impossible struggle of being LGBTQ+ in a hetero normative world.
I don’t know why I waited so long to read this book! Secret loves in a world of glamour and perfection! Hidden secrets and being human . Loved it!
90% of this book was amazing. But she shoots it down at the last chapters.
I cannot understand Monique's reaction to the Big Reveal. It doesn't make any sense. The alternative would have been so much worse, for everyone.
Frankly, her reaction, her actions, her words, her anger, was so absurd for me, that I almost threw this book out. It was almost GOT finale kind of reaction. :-D Almost.
I loved the last sentence, though. :-) That was very nice. :-)

Great book! Highly recommend.
Wow. This was not what I expected at all. This was crazy, so much happened and nice twists at just the right time.
