Fascinating story of Kya Clark, the poor "Marsh Girl" growing up in marsh in NC coast. When local football star, Chase Andrews is murdered, Kya is an immediate suspect.

Story starts slow and bogs down in the marshy details at points, but I enjoyed it. (view spoiler) ...more
