5 🌟 now that was a thriller. I enjoyed the playing with the readers head. I swear I felt as if I was becoming crazy lol.
Anna stuck in her home due to her medical condition. Only way for her to pass time is to watch her neighbors, drink wine, take pills, sleep and watch old movies. But wine, pills and thriller movies don't mix well when she witnesses her neighbor being murder. Or do she? Police doesn't believe her.

Really great psychological thriller. Went a bit slow at times, but I liked the twists and turns and found the characters compelling, generally-speaking. Some things I guessed, some things I didn't, which is a mark of a good thriller, no? While parts were predictable and easily figured out, other parts did hold some mystery and intrigue. I was unable to bond with or like the heroine whose actions angered me more than arose my sympathy.

Very film-noir-esque, with lots of references to Hitchcock films, and plenty of twists and turns with the plot line. I’ve read enough novels like this that I felt as though the other characters were obligated to not believe her for the sake of the plot line, even though the situation was getting progressively worse. I mean, seriously, if someone was in her house taking photos of her while she slept, you’d hope that the police would take it a tad bit more seriously. Still, I found her character i

This was a great read. Suspenseful and fun, with twists I did not expect (although maybe I should've seen them coming but I was sick while reading this, hence slower than usual).
I really enjoyed the writing. I cannot say I was 100% captivated, especially in the last few chapters - but until the big reveal it was a lot of fun! ...more
