It wasn't terrible but it was extremely slow moving and I found it difficult to keep interested. But unfortunately I was bored most of the time.

EDITED (February 2019) - I am going to change my rating from a 4 to a 1 and my support of this book and this author - see New Yorker Magazine article that outlines why I've made this decision. I'm not comfortable supporting him or his book after learning this information.

Who knows what goes on in a family?
Okay, so. Here's the deal.
The Woman in the Window is not a groundbreaking thriller. It does not offer amazing new insights into the human psyche. It did not even make me gasp audibly once.
But I've definitely been turning on every light as I move through my house at night.
It's a fast read, and the mystery (and backstory) unfolds bit by bit, with just enough each time to make me want to keep reading. Which is super easy because half of the ch ...more

torn on this one. the first half of the book was slow and I was hoping for something different from it, based on what I had read about the book, but the second half was fast-paced and the story started to develop and unfold.
