Fat Charlie's father died. Then he found out that he actually has a brother. And that both his brother and father are more than what they seem. When he met his brother though, his life went to the dogs and when he tried to get his life back, things didn't go as planned. Along this journey, he found the truth about himself.

I do love Gaiman's writing and the writing was just as excellent in this book but I just couldn't get into it because... there's that bit that I usually avoid and I'd have drop

A fun book to read. Gaiman is great at quirky characters. The dialogue is simple in this one, but the story itself is full of twists and turns that are easy to follow.
