Read an excerpt in Buzz which was quite good. One of my favourite topics.
Samurai, political intrigue, with a hint of fantasy.
3.5 stars.
I wanted to love this book. But, unfortunately, I didn't. It started off slow and a little confusing. I did enjoy the later half of the book immensely, but if this was not a challenge prompt/group read for a read-a-thon, I probably would have DNF'd it before I got 25% read. ...more
