I really enjoyed this book! What an interesting concept of the Night Circus and rather unique fantasy world. I liked all the characters and was hooked. My only complaint is about the ending.
Yes, I'm on my soap box about endings AGAIN!
This one was too fast - too short. Another chapter was needed. As an author, I'm well aware of the desire to get the book finished after months (maybe years) of working on it. However, revisions are where you can go back and flesh things out and enhance. For exampl ...more

I cannot believe it took me this long to get to this book. It was exquisitely written, the characters came alive on the page, and the world was so vivid that leaving felt like leaving reality. To say this is an adored new favorite would be an understatement.
Morgenstern creates more atmosphere in this one volume in ways Rowling's struggled to create with the first few volumes of the Potter series.

A great story
Well written with all the elements of a good story. Details to make it realistic without dragging the plot, likable believable characters, a little romance but not sopping with it, a little bit of intrigue, and, of course, magic. This is the first book I’ve read by Erin Morgenstern but I will look forward to reading more!

This book was good,I wouldn't read it again but I'd recommend it.
The story is very intriguing and draws you in. The writing is detailed and exquisite. Give it time. It starts at a slow pace but speeds up when everything comes together. The end wasn't what I expected but wrapped everything up nicely. What troubles me is I'm not wanting more, another book to continue the story. I'm OK being done with The Night Circus. I won't miss reading it but I don't regret reading it either. Maybe that is the ...more
