At first you think this is a story about the circus. Then you think it is about a contest between two skilled competitors. But it's about magic. And relationships. And so much more. The Night Circus is an enchanting, fantastical, spellbinding story. Erin Morgenstern is a literary genius. This book was a warm fire on a cold, winter night; a blooming rose in a bushel of weeds; and a gleaming diamond in a pile of coal. It read like a dream that I

So divided about this book! It's beautifully written but plods on in parts and I felt like the both the intertwining of the plot lines and the payoff could have come sooner. ...more
