This is the first book in a trilogy about time-travel. Gwen is a 16 year-old who discovers she carries a time-traveling gene in her family and is unfortunately ill prepared for the job. She stumbles through various time periods trying to help The Guardians, a secret society, complete the chronograph's circle to unleash its power. This was such a dang fun book! It didn't learn any life lessons from it, but it sure was a fun teeny bopper novel. Gwyneth lives in a family that carries a gene that allows for time travel. During the last sixteen years her cousin has been believed to be the carrier of this gene, but is disppontedly mistaken when Gwyneth disappears on her way to the corner shop to by her crazy great-aunt sherbet-lemons.
