The one annoying thing about time-slip novels, just like multiple POVs novels, is that you get to be impatient about one timeline because you really wanted to get back to the other to find out what happens next!

I hate agenda pushing books. If this had been strictly set in the past, I would have rated this much higher. But I really disliked the main character in modern times (Molly). I thought she was really rude. I hated the pushing of her veganism and the painful stereotype of her "crazy right wing" foster parents. It is this type of thing that got us Trump, honestly.
