The Hobbit by JRR Tolkien may have been origionally written with the target audience being that of children but regardless of whatever intentions it may have had Tolkien could not of predicted how this would change in so becoming a book that was and is still read and loved by not just children but teenagers and adults alike, becoming a universal publication that so many have enjoyed and delighted in. I have read this book twice, but the readings were so far apart I was sure that elves had snuck in and re-written it in the interim. I'm a huge fan of the Peter Jackson movies and loved The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey. Can't wait for The Desolation of Smaug. We watch the extended version of the The Lord of the Rings at the end of every year. So I'm fan.
