What Members Thought

This is the best ever book I have seen. The richness and depth of the world Tolkien created is amazing. There are so many characters, places, entwined tales in this book, that it almost seem to be a summarized history of another world. Everything is so detailed that it almost seem real.
I still read it from time to time, when I want to feel that there is another world which is fairer and simpler.

Brilliant. I've read this a lot of times and its still great. It is epic in scale, starting at the beginning of creation and going though thousands of years of the fantasy evolution of the world. The start is a bit hard to grasp and there a lot of names and characters, however the drama and imagination of the whole thing is just fantastic. Not for everyone but I would recommend it.
