What Members Thought

Every time I finish a Tolkien book, I feel a little lost to the real world, like this world is the fiction and I belong in Middle-Earth--which I actually wrote as Arda at first.
The Silmarillion I tried to read in high school and I just couldn't get into it. But now, 13 years later, I am amazed by it. In fact, it's now my favorite book by Tolkien, which also kind of makes it my favorite book ever...if one could ever actually choose a favorite book.

Reading this book has been like 19 years in the doing of it, but it’s not because I don’t love it. It’s because every paragraph is as dense with character and information as some other entire books.

Kind of thick, but it's very much like reading the Bible of LOTR and Hobbit.
