Loved reading Tolkien's translation of this. Great fun!

This poem is thought to be written in the 1400's. There are many translations, but I found this translation done by Tolkien to be fairly easy to understand. It is a very interesting story about Sir Gawain, one of the knights of the roundtable who goes in search of The Green Knight following a rather gruesome first meeting. A definite read for all Tolkien fans!
