What Members Thought
Slightly the weakest of the trilogy, but still brilliant. The split into the different character threads works very well, jumping back to the other stories at the right time to keep the story to the correct timeline, although I'm always wanting to stay with one thread longer. I seem to remember the Frodo/Sam journey being the most boring bit of the whole trilogy, but during reading it is never tedious and is a great part of the story (Gollum, Faramir, Shelob etc).
