I have an almost childlike attachment to this whole story. My first introduction to Tolkien was "The Hobbit," and the films by Peter Jackson gave me a reason to read these "long and difficult" books when I was 14. One of the Greatest Epics in the english language. Totally original, loved it when I was younger.

Love it more now.

I still read it when im depressed or bored with the formalistic trash that are on

"The Lists".
