This second book was nothing like the first one, which I also read and loved. They're completely different, even though the characters are the same. The books are so different.

Mr. Lanyon, I have always said that the length of your stories (most of them) drives me to despair. They are too short! But I realised something today (actually have been cementing the theory in over the last few of your "way too short" books). It's not that the story is too short and therefore lacking content because the content is there. And it is there in brilliant efficiency.
