The story is absolutely rich in feelings and themes.
''In a Dark Wood'' is one of my favorite stories and I'm grateful that Josh revisited Tim's and Luke's relationship. Thank you so much, dear Josh!

As it often happens, Johanna said it all and better.

The follow up to In A Dark Wood doesn't involve a mystery unless you count the fact that Tim disappeared from Luke's life for two and half years.

Tim has fled to California in hopes of getting his alcoholism under control. He's back in New York for a friend's wedding. Is it kismet that Luke and Tim bump into each other or is it just a painful meeting?

Okay, Tim and Luke's story continued nicely. This is a wonderful sequel to the previous first part. And truthfully emotional and hurtful one, too. A reader could understand both MC's, each side was solidly developed and emotionally well build. I'm definitely looking forward for more from this couple. Great work by Josh Lanyon! ...more

Masterfully written, poignant and gripping. However, the ending came somewhat rushed.

Wow! *sobs* This was an incredible sequel to In A Dark Wood. Josh is hands down my favorite m/m author. And this story is a perfect example of why. In 76 short pages he managed to turn me into a sobbing fucking mess, leaving me feeling bereft (because it was over) and wanting MORE of Tim & Luke.
