Just finished the audio edition of this and loved it even more than the first read through of the ebook last year. I'm actually really sad/upset it's over! I need a sequel!
Just as good the third time around in audio! Gomez is such a great narrator. Even though I always start this book hearing Victor Bayne from Jordan Castillo Price’s Psycop series, Gomez gets me into the book and the characters come alive as themselves. Engaging but at times disappointing, so more like 2.5 stars.
The mystery was interesting but I thought Robert was a mediocre cop. He had the potential to be good but he didn't care enough about the job to do it well.
The romance was decent but the epilogue was unbelievable, felt tacked on and ended the story on a sour note. ...more
