Homecoming. It was never sweeter.

The fifth installment in the Dangerous Ground series.
This review will contain spoilers.

I recently finished reading up on the first four books in this series, and let me tell you, they get better the further into the series you get. Maybe it’s because I develop an emotional attachment to Lanyon characters so easily. I don’t know what it is, but I was not disappointed.

As always, Josh Lanyon's books comfort me. This series is not an exception and it worked its magic on me.

Kick Start was just what I needed today. A sweet romantic conclusion to this lovely series. I'm going to miss Will and Taylor. The couple had grown on me throughout their journey together and I would love to see them again soon.

A special thank you to the narrator Adrian Bisson who has made this experience unforgettable for me. It was amazing!

What to say about this book? If it was any other author, any other pairing, any other series, I would have given it 3 stars and forgotten about it. But because it IS Taylor and Will—and I LOVE Taylor and Will (unashamedly)—it gets up pump up.

Which might not be so bad, if it hadn't been years since this series has been touched. Unfortunately, it sort of sours my impression of it, since there were some unresolved issues in this one that still need to be addresed.

Other than that, it was a decent update. I still think Will doesn't properly appreciate Taylor, though he does seem to realize it more and mor

A joy to read more on Will and Taylor and the progression of their relationship. I just wished there was more to the story than that. There is a nice set-up to look forward to in the next book and I hope the questions I had in this one will be answered in the next installment.

Will's faked enthusiasm to having Taylor go visit his family with him cracked me up. It was easy to imagine how he would say it.
