What did I just read?!
How do books this perfect exist? I have no idea. I can't even comprehend this.

This book scared the shit outta me. Actually. I was terrified reading this from the very first chapter. Keep in mind, I"m a gigantic wussy, but it was legitimately scary. And I love scary books. They make you feel so uncomfortable in your own skin and so mentally terrified. Awesome.
I didn't even know Lanyon could write horror books. Let's be honest though, is there anything th ...more
I finished this yesterday, reluctantly. I really don't like it when a Josh Lanyon book ends (well, there was just the one, and only because it was emotionally really, really hard - that was I Spy Something Bloody). But the worlds that the author creates are submerging and very real.
This was a buddy read and pretty much the only Lanyon I didn't have on my Kindle (after the author tweeted a while back that there was a book sale and I bought up the back catalogue). But purchasing Winter was money w ...more

This book was a fun, suspenseful good time. Cute story. Mr. Lanyon referred to Paranormal State but it felt a little more like Ghost Adventures. This really isn't a romance. It's a story of grief and anger and letting go of it all. It is definitely the bump in the night ghost story.

Fabulous! This has the makings of another well-loved series from Josh Lanyon. Great leads. Flynn is a treat, with more than enough depth to make him interesting. Kirk is strong, but obviously sensitive, and a great contrast to Flynn. With such a strong rapport, they'll be easy to fall in love with.
Thoroughly enjoyed the mystery of the mirror, and I wasn't sure I would. Beautiful imagery, as always, had me there in the Deep South with them.
Well worth 5 stars.

A fantastic read. I really feel for Flynn and the lost he feels from losing his lover, Alan. (view spoiler)

I LOVE Josh Lanyon's writing. Love it. The words just seem to flow off the page and into brain. His characters always speak to me and the plots are always interesting.
This book was more of the same. With some "eek! creepy!" thrown in to boot.
Small caveat. The basic plot of the book is resolved by the end, the but relationship arc is not. Since this is labeled book one of a series, I assume that this will be like the Adrian English series, where the relationship was a slow burn over multiple boo ...more
