While this starts as online-series, I decided to wait until it is officially edited and published. Simply because I hate reading online and I have no patience for WIPs. So I don't know how edited or expanded this one compared to the Wattpad's version -- all I knew was that Josh Lanyon added around 10k from the original version.

I assumed that this would be a 4-stories (involved with 4 seasons) related to the couple, Flynn and Kirk. In that sense, I could take the rather abrupt ending because this

**Audible Version**

3.5 stars. I think this one will work for me more if it ends up continuing. It felt like this was just the beginning of the story (even though the main mystery is resolved.) I didn't feel completely satisfied with the character and relationship development if this is a "one-shot."

Still, Lanyon is always good in providing an interesting read, and the audio version was good. Not my favorite of Lanyon's, but for the JL fans, you will probably dig this.

I'm so excited about this new series. Great read with a few edge-of-the-seat moments, a little bit of dry humor, and some truly wonderful characters. If you know someone that is new to M/M and loves a good ghost story or mystery, this would be an excellent one to recommend. ...more

I was taken right along for this ride. Beautifully aching and painful, there's nothing superficial about this deep heavy overwhelming grief. But at the same time, it doesn't take over the story.

Perfect haunted read for Halloween. Equally good for Valentine's Day I think. I pretty much love everything Josh Lanyon writes. A Vintage Affair was the first Lanyon book I read, and it was nice to visit Louisiana again.

Finishing it up and now having to go to bed alone in the house, probably not my best

Excellent audiobook. I look forward to the next one in this series.

Turned out, rereading this as a book was not as creepy as the first time I did it on Wattpad. Then again, probably because I knew the story so there's no longer effect of surprise.

I still love this one though. Flinn and Kirk were such complicated characters, and their stories were far from finish.

I just wish Josh would hurry up and publish the next book in the series. :-)

Liked it, as I do all his books. Real characters with a great dynamic, a fun mystery, and some smiles along the way.

A chilling ghost story in an old ramshackle house. It reminded me of a favorite author, Barbara Michaels.
