Adored Kai, such a prickly dude. :-D The look-see into manga/yaoi was interesting, too, provided an intriguing textural layering to the story without dominating it or drawing the focus away from Ryo and Kai (and Mickey).

Let me start by saying I adore this author. But this one was just ok for me. The writing was flawless but I didn't connect with either MC. Not sure why.

Not quite what I had expected from the description and cover - i.e. this was darker than I had thought it would be. Which doesn't mean it was dark at all, just that I wasn't prepared for the turns the story took. But an enjoyable read nonetheless, which is what one would expect from Lanyon :)

OMG!!!! Had a great time reading this manga/yaoi story! I read it so fast I confused myself!!!! I had to go back and tell myself to slow down and take in all the great details!!! Very visual story!!!! I can always tell when I like it because I want more, more, MORE!!!!! HA!!!!! (On another note: I can't wait for the next Holmes and Moriarity book!!!! It should be a longeeeeeeee!!!!!) Now I'm going to read Blood Red Butterfly, AGAIN, even more sloooooowly!!!!!
