Why did I think I can hold off reading Lanyon's new story to save it for the summer holiday? Reading "In Plain Sight" in one setting reminded me what a great storyteller Lanyon is. Almost seems effortless, drew me in and I stayed up until 3 to finish it.

This is a great collection of short stories of Lanyon - the short intro to each story is a precious bonus. The perfect excuse to revisit some old favourites.

More than a collectible.

I'm really wavering between 4 and 5--In Plain Sight cinched it to 5 though. Beautifully written as usual, mature storytelling at its best.

Re-read and re-read and re-read... ;)
The original In Sunshine or In Shadow always had special place in my heart <3
But the other novellas were just as good to me.

I'll be hard-pressed to decide which story is my favorite. But In Plain Sight being the newest, it comes away with first prize.

Excellent collection of short stories - everything from sweet and funny to heartbreaking. I can not say enough about how well this man writes and how much I love reading what he writes.
