What a refreshing read. Unique in its own way, especially in the sea of M/M Romance CopCrime novels. Wonderful characters with an exciting, and interesting plot, that never had page after page of personal reflection of studying of some obscure dental records of an ex-con to discover who-dun-it. This was definitely a breed of its own.

I loved the banter between Dino and Seth from the very beginning. It literally had me laughing out loud. I also loved how smooth and easy going the romance between them became. It wasn't exactly thrusted upon the reader and Dino wasn't exactly gay for Seth over night. There were subtle hints that Seth was attracted to Dino and that Dino wasn't exactly a straight arrow. First off I want to say I absolutely enjoyed reading this story. I thought Dino and Seth together was comical and adorable. I was laughing throughout the book and I just wanted the story to go on forever with their banter.
There was a slight issue I had with the book which was I thought it could have focused more on Dino's PI work instead of his and Seth's budding relationship. It didn't really feel like a balance story of both that I wanted. Nonetheless it was a great read. ...more
