This is a kinda sweet, kinda fun book that didn't quite work for me. Although I liked both MCs, I didn't buy them together as a couple. I liked Sam but I didn't find him attractive in a romantic sense and I didn't get what got Ian so hot. Its like getting turned on by a big goofy puppy.

2nd read: I didn't enjoy this as much the second time around. Still a cute story but this time I found Sam annoying and Ian was too emotionally constipated/retarded to be believable. You can't go through life without having feelings, whether it's affection, frustration, love, anger, hate, jealously ,etc. The author tried to make me believe that Ian never FELT anything before until he met Sam. I re-read this book many times and still love the characters! Sam's comparing his life to romance books still makes me laugh. I understand that Ian does not start out as the greatest boyfriend, but he makes up for it in spades.
