This collection of stories was excellent. The fantasy realm worked well with all four of the stories. I bought this due to Josh Lanyon's contribution and thoroughly enjoyed his and all of the other stories.

I have loved the idea of a shared universe ever since reading Tales from the Vulgar Unicorn in HS. Different authors creating people and events inside a shared world, fun! Sometimes the stories work, and sometimes they don't, but all 4 stories in this collection are excellent.

I think the third story was my favorite, but I wished there was more when I got to the end. The first story was a bit gruesome, but that's exactly what I was looking for.

Each story is unique, well written, and enjoyable. My favorite is Astrid Amara's No Life But This.
