Mexican Heat was a compelling, touching and suspenseful story, but I had issues with it. Though I enjoyed the switch in POVs, it read like two separate books to me. The only real continuity between the two parts, were the main characters. I liked both of the MCs, but I couldn’t see what Miguel found so intriguing in Giovanni. I really liked this one. There are some great plot twists, some expected and some unexpected. The sex scenes are well done, characters are well developed and believable and this is one of the few times I didn't feel like the villains were over the top and unrealistic. Well done.
