"Nothing wrong with a little sincere sentiment(...)"
In Sunshine or in Shadow is a very short and sweet cop story without the murder solving intrigue. Josh Lanyon scaled it down to the essentials and kept it simple and refreshing despite a chabada bada moment at the end that thankfully didn't last.
However, I would have liked it better if it wasn't the sketch of another longer story of his that I have already read. ...more
