Cards on the Table by Josh Lanyon: 3.5 stars
Very engaging mystery. Suspenseful. Love the characters, especially Tim, (view spoiler) Lanyon sure knows how to write tortured souls. And although this isn't really anything new in Lanyon's stories, it's as good as ever.
The ending, though, didn't convince. It's way too rushed. It rather feels like Lanyon suddenly realises that he's got just 10 ...more

Finished Cards on the Table - loved it; loved the characters, the story and the writing. Definitely 5 stars for this.
Paused before starting the other story in this volume.
