Cute story about a professor (I just love professors and JL has lots) and a hobgoblin-documentary host/producer who pair up to solve a mystery involving a mummy (Surprised by the mummy?).
The professor is a tall lean handsome dude with relationship problems and the tv dude is a cute but chubby freewheeler who turns the professor's head with his speedos.
Enjoyed the antics and was looking forward to the resolution of the professor's angsty stuff when the story just stopped dead. (Heh! mum ...more

An excellent novella from one of my favorite authors. This is different from most of Lanyon's novels in that there is a lightness to it - not in plot or characterization, but in the emotional overtone. I really enjoyed this change as much as I enjoy the usual style. In fact, this cements for me that Lanyon is a truly talented must-buy ...more

There hasn't been one story of Josh's that I have read that I didn't LOVE! And this one is no different. This is supposed to be the first book in a series and I'm looking forward to the next installment in the adventures of Drew and Frasier.

Today, I decided to enjoy an unabridged audio edition of this story and I admit, it was way better listening narrated reading by Sean Crisden, second time around. I wish we also had a sequel in this series, because this was only the beginning. I did enjoy it, very much.

This short novella was way to undeveloped and kind of rushed. I did in general enjoy the story as it was, but I felt unsatisfied at the end. That's because Noah and Drew still didn't resolved their is ...more
