What Members Thought
In the period pieces Lanyon writes, he gives a sensitive portrayal of what it must have been like to be gay back in the days when it was a crime, categorized under 'vice'. Thankfully we've come a long way. This one is especially good. The mystery is tight, the writing elegant, the relationship subtle.

Listened to the audio version of this story. At first I wasn't too sure of the narrator, Alexander Masters, but, by the end of the story, I was appreciating the more noirish tone of voice for the characters and the story. Bueno
