Fantastic, moving read!

wow. just wow. Well-crafted, tightly written. Gripping. Detailed. I was emotionally wrapped up in this book from start to finish. It was fascinating to watch these characters slowly unfold from the messes they'd made of their lives. McKinley wove scenes from the past into the present to make a rich tapestry of a story.
