What Members Thought
I was surprised, with all the positive reviews, to find myself not getting into this very quickly. I think I was thrown off by the way the D was made to sound almost 'backwoods' in his speech. But after the first few chapters I was able to get past thsi and see the real man.
I think the author did a great job with the morality that was put out there, and how Jack has to figure out if he is even capable of coming to terms with the kind of person this hitman is.

I think it was the longest m/m novel I've ever read. I'm a learner of English, so if the novel is no truly fascinating, I'm likely to give up on reading it halfway. But it didn't happen time time. It was a thrilling read to the end and I'm willing to read a next story if any with the similar length.

Jack and D are great. I love the interaction and conflicts between them. I am anxious to follow them on their adventures. I was beyond excited to find out this is going to be a series not just a single book. I really like these characters and cant wait to see what awaits them in the future.
*Even better the second time!* Hoping new book comes out soon.
