This book fulfils every expectations I had and my wildest dreams as a reader.
The world building is amazing. I've been loving dystopian books since when I read Brave New World and 1984 as a student. In this book society is under the control of the Administration. Politics and bureaucracy are on one side, corporations are on the other side. Dissenting people are re-habilitated with a process that enters and changes their minds. - The MCs are totally flawed, especially Toreth. Still, I love him
- The worldbuilding is done with no info dumping and is perfectly believable
- The plot is amazingly good
- The writing is excellent
- There is a relationship, and the relationship is developing and getting better in the next books. Maybe just keep in mind that this is *not* a romance or a fluffy story.

All I can say is 'wow'... This novel is much more a political murder mystery than a romance but if you're in the mood for something dark and gritty, something you can sink your teeth into, then this may be for you. If you have enjoyed Aleksandr Voinov's Scorpion or Dark Edge of Honor, or Brue's Yakuza Pride, then I have no doubt you'll enjoy this story.

tough book - simply exceptional.
The story is really complex and good placed. The characters interesting bunch and I truly liked both main couple, that's Toreth and Warrick. Both are so complex, intelligent and strong individuals you just have to feel trilled to fallow their path.
The case in this first books is really interesting an it pulled me into, till last page. Really awesome story truly recommended reading material, because it's full of mystery, strong characters and strong set plot.
