Honestly, going into this book I was expecting a lot of angst... more than a lot actually, so I was quite disappointed in that aspect. I never cried even though I cry pretty easily with books but it just wasn't as sad as I thought it would be. We didn't even really get to see Zach's rehabilitation. The book starts out with Zach being rescued and he's in a really bad condition but then suddenly it’s 2 years later and while he’s still not ok he definitely came a long way since they found him.
