Caved and bought this one last night and happily not regretting it!
I really enjoyed this one even better than the last. I feel like the Kit and J.X. finally hit their stride, so to speak, and even though there are plenty of bumps in this one as well, it's obvious that they are both really in it. I really adore Kit's voice, and I really loved his vulnerability, and increasing self-awareness as he realized just how much he wanted to keep this thing with J.X. and sort of starts making an increasing ...more

I loved the first two books in this series, but this one is even better. Kit and JX's relationship evolves and we can see Kit growing as a character, too. And the ending was NOT the traditional abrupt Lanyon ending, but a bit more drawn out, so that I gave a happy sigh as I finished.

It was great! I loved being inside Kit's head as he was finally honest with himself about how he feels about JX. And there was everything else that make Lanyon's books too good to be true: sarcasm, mystery, witty dialog, hot hot hot sex, (view spoiler) , insecurities, humor and well you know THE HOT SEX!

As much as Kit drives me to distraction (for a variety of reasons) I do love these two.
