I LOVED THIS BOOK! The inner dialogue from Rain alone makes this book such a winner. I can't get enough of his snark, sass and vulnerability. The humor, sweetness and the cast of characters to be found here is top notch.

That was just so much fun. Rain and Danny are like the necklace in the book; they might both be a little broken, but they fit together perfectly. I loved all the snarky banter and all those moments when they lowered their barriers just long enough to get a glimpse into their hearts. I really liked this one - it reminded me of Adhara's Wolf books, and I didn't really put it down once I started. The romantic arc was a second chance, so that felt rushed to me. I think I might listen to the next one, since I like to do that with the Adhara books.

Very funny and entertaining, on to the next one
Loooooooved it! Great rhythm, great characters, and you could FEEEEL the attraction between the MCs. And I'm a sucker for second chances AND law enforcement. And it had everything I love.

I really liked this book. I alternated between the audible and the written form and both were equally good. The story is fun, and I’d love to read a part 2 as Rain develops his talent and Danny learns to live with what he can do. LOVE!
I just can't stop re-reading this series! Rain & Danny are absolute delight to read about. I love how Danny is always there for Rain, no matter the situation. Totally in love with the author's writing style ^_^
