As used as I am to Lanyon's abrupt endings, I still felt bereft when this story ended. I just became emotionally invested and it was over. It wouldn't have been so annoying had I not been so interested in Griffin and Hamar. But I actually wanted to know so much more about their relationship. Instead, I had to fill it in with my imagination.
