A nicely done St Valentine's Day-themed story about a student and a teaching assistant.
It was my first YA/NA by Lanyon. I didn't expect that from him being used to his men in late twenties-thirties but it was entertaining nevertheless.
I liked doubting the main character, speculating whether he is a villain. It might have made me love him less but it had certainly kept me on my toes.

Carey gets a box of chocolates from a secret admirer a few days before Valentine's Day. According to his friends, that's exactly the MO of the serial killer that use to stalk their campus.
The mystery in this one fell flat for me. I knew who it was early on and I don't know, I really didn't like the resolution if you can call it that. I also wasn't sold on the characters and I'm not sure why. Maybe I'm just not used to Lanyon's MCs being so young ...more
