ETA (1.12.2013): I've just reread il for the fourth (?) time, and decided that I must leave a review.

Of course to give a 5-stars-rating is also something. But the story is so incredibly well crafted that I feel compelled to say something more.

It is a perfect mix of action, humor, romance. You share the POV of both MCs and understand their deeper feelings and the reasons for their actions. Will and Taylor are very believable and lovable characters. And did I mention the amazing sex scenes? ;-) N

I liked the writing, Will and Taylor, their hiking adventure and their romance. It was short, but everything was there: where the characters came from, where they were and finally where they were going.

I never thought watching someone trying to find the most comfortable position to get to sleep could be so sexy.

On to the sequel!

I usually love Lanyon's books, but Dangerous Ground wasn't in the same class as the other ones that I have read. The story was engaging, and I really liked the characters, but man, the head jumping was insane - every other sentence it flipped to the other person kind of insane. I'm just not all that excited by your average thriller, so I'm pleased that this was above average in that along with solid storytelling, there was an emotional depth to the fraught relationship between Will and Taylor.

I think, however, that the adventure story came a poor second to the romance between t

my first Josh Lanyon! i'll be reading lots more by this author, that's for sure.
i liked Dangerous Ground, good writing, nice flow.... it's a little short so you're trown into the story from page 1 and it took me a while to get my bearings. great tension between Taylor and Will and some hot stuff... what i really like is that these two guys are strong, they are equal and very masculin.
