Shelves: audio, own-in-audio, own-as-ebook, established-relationship, mystery

Misleading blurb - Ellery doesn't meet Jack's parents in this one, I'm assuming that traumatic experience will be in book 9 or 10.

This book is in part a continuation of the diving mystery from book 5 and in part (view spoiler)

Enjoyable cosy mystery. Great narration.

Glad I waited and read this book in chronological order.

Watson continues to be the best character in these books. Of course I like Ellery and Jack but Watson is the cutest. Jack is really cute at the end though.

Interesting mystery and I liked getting more background on Eudora. I don’t really try to solve the mysteries in this series - they’re too short and many things left out. I just read and enjoy the island atmosphere, Ellery and Jack together and Ellery’s reactions to the bumblings of the ...more

This was just okay for me. I do love Ellery and Jack ... and the utterly charming Pirate Cove setting and eccentric side characters. The series has become a little stale. The mysteries are a little tedious and I am more interested in the progression of the MCs relationship. I will read the next book (no question about that) ... I just have to wait for it to be released.
