This wasn't my favorite JL title. It was all right. The way the mysteries were resolved was a bit anticlimactic, especially the long running mystery of the poison pen letters. There were more than the usual missing word/typo type errors, although to be fair, it was still way better than most of what I find on KU. Probably my least favorite book of the series. My biggest niggle was a lack of progression. I am not super interested in the mystery aspect of these books but understand that this is the price of admission with this author. Very pulling story with good plot and warm romance. A really fast read.

Hmm, this was a miss for me mystery wise. I didn’t care about Lara or what happened to her.

Dylan Carter and his situation was weird. I don’t remember his relationship with - hmmm - now I can’t remember her name.

I’ve disliked and distrusted Jane Smith since she tried to steal from Ellery in book one.

This book felt like a lot of things thrown together with a number six attached.

I still like Jack and Ellery together. I kept reading for those parts. Watson is disobedient but cute.
