This was a fast past and wonderful story that Josh Lanyon put together. Elliot Mills & Tucker Lance were partners and in the FBI until Elliot was injured and forced to leave the FBI and become a professor. Not only were they partners by day the enjoyed each other sexually.
This book is a great mystery that allows Elliot and Tucker to face what has happened to them and decided how to move forward. I really enjoyed the characters and the complete evolution of their relationship along with the myst ...more

I had marked this book as read and it lay on my Kindle waiting.
In order to prepare for the forthcoming book in the series, I decided to revisit this book. To my surprise, both the MCs were new to me and the story was completely new too. I generally pre-order most Josh Lanyon books and for the life of me cannot remember how this one lay forgotten.
On that note- I enjoyed every bit of of this book- both the characters and the mystery.

Great writing, interesting mystery... I didn't connect with these two as a couple (liked Elliot much more than Tucker) as much as some of Lanyon's other pairings, but I really enjoyed the story. Even more the second time round. I can't get enough of Josh Lanyon's writing. More please... ...more
