As usual, Lanyon's writing is superb. I enjoyed this story, the characters, and the mystery. The problems of a gay man in a tiny town adds a unique twist. But the story was way too short, with little resolution. Ethan's relationship with Michael remains questionable, Karl is left dangling, and Michael's motives and desires are a guess. ...more
