What a cruel story or to be precise, tragic in a way, but for Marlowe it was a new case in which he wasn't paid a dime. I like Marlowe, he is so complex it's hard figuring him out. His cases are weird and complex too. I liked this book as always, great work by Raymond Chandler! ...more
