What Members Thought

Considering how much I love this series (and re-reads haven't dimmed that) the audio version is really disappointing. It's listenable and that's about it; narrator appears to have a time limit speeding through the book, I've had to rewind a few times to determine who was speaking or if the words were spoken or thoughts.

THANK YOU Goodreads friends! I don't think I would have checked this book out had I not seen so many glowing reviews from each of you. Your enthusiastic reviews prompted me to give this new author a try and I'm *really* glad I did. What a wonderful book! The mystery kept me guessing throughout and I loved the interesting and unique approach this author took towards the werewolf trope. What do you get when you mix Josh Lanyon's Winter Kill or The Mermaid Murders with the TV show Teen Wolf? Well, obviously a suspensful and very delicious mystery with werewolves like The Wolf at the Door.
Since I like both the books and the TV show it's insta-like for me. :-D

Interesting start to a series of more crime investigation than romance series about a society where some know of werewolves but most don't.
