Another good series from Gregory Ashe with complex characters and mysteries. North and Shaw didn't immediately grab me the way H&S did, but they did grow on me. Shaw is definitely out there, while North is as down-to-earth as it gets but they do make a great team. Both have baggage and Shaw's is particularly devastating.
