Another good series from Gregory Ashe with complex characters and mysteries. North and Shaw didn't immediately grab me the way H&S did, but they did grow on me. Shaw is definitely out there, while North is as down-to-earth as it gets but they do make a great team. Both have baggage and Shaw's is particularly devastating. Ugh. I want to read the next one right away. And probably the next one after that and the next one after that, because obviously the author is going for torture me with multiple books before these two will be actually together!

Wow!!

Wow, what a crazy ride this was. I loved every work. I think Gregory Ashe has to be a little crazy to come up with these characters and story, but apparently it's my kind of crazy.

The first book in the new Gregory Ashe series (Borealis Investigations) is Orientation. Ashe’s two MCs are partners in a St. Louis detective agency that specializes in cases for the LGBTA community. I loved the whole story which caused several sleepless nights. The narrator was excellent. Shaw and North was so real to me.
